Do not insert the Windows 98 CD in the CD
drive. Click "OK" leaving your CD drive empty.
The following dialog box will be presented. Press
the Browse button.
Now you need to navigate to "C:\windows\system32\
drivers". First, use the "Drives" menu to select the
"C:" drive.
Scroll down until the "windows" directory appears,
and double click on it. This will present the direc-
tories within the "C:\windows" directory. Scroll
down until the "system32" director y appears, and
double click on it. This will present the "drivers"
director y.
After double clicking on the "drivers" directory,
you will notice that the "ntmap.sys" is presented
and windows has automatically selected it. To com-
plete the 1394 driver update, click OK.
After completing device registration, check that
the Windows device drivers are installed and func-
tioning normally (
33).
