1.4 Inspection

Before shipment, this calibrator was inspected and found to be free of mechanical and
electrical defects. The calibrator should be inspected for any damage that may have
occurred in transit as soon as it is unpacked. Save all packing materials in case the calibrator
has to be returned. If damage is found, file a claim with the carrier immediately. Do not return
the product to Chroma without prior approval.

1.5 Installing and Replacing the Battery

Before opening the case for installing or replacing the 9V battery, be sure to power off the
calibrator and remove the test cable first.
(1) Turn the A195001 calibrator to the back and remove the screws at the four corners and
then take off the rear cover.
