Set-up for TIG process

Operation instruction of TIG

1 Starting up
Turn the power switch to the ON position.
2 Connections
Connect TIG torch to the negative (–) terminal. Pigtail not used.
Connect work return lead to the positive (+) terminal.
3 Select welding mode
In the Home Screen, select the TIG mode using left knob. Turn
right knob to select Main SET, short press right knob to enter the Main
SET/Welding Screen.
Note: In the Home screen, please refer to '6.2 Home Screen Icons' for a description of
each of the parameter icons.
4 Setting parameters
In the Main SET/Welding Screen, rotate left knob to adjust the
welding current, and rotate right knob to set the post-gas time.
Note: In the Main Settings, please refer to '6.4 Main Settings (Welding parameters)' for
the operation instructions of Left and Right knobs.
5 Start welding
After setting, the welding operation can be carried out.
When welding the display screen shows real-time current and voltage.
NOTE
Only the control panel on the power source can be used for
setting TIG and MMA process parameters.

Operation instruction of MMA

1 Starting up
Turn the power switch to the ON position.
2 Connections
Connect electrode lead to the positive (+) terminal. Pigtail not used.
Connect work return lead to the negative (–) terminal.
3 Select welding mode
In the Home Screen, select the MMA mode using left knob.
Turn Right knob to select Main SET, short press Right to enter the Main SET/
Welding Screen.
Note: In the Home screen, please refer to '6.2 Home Screen Icons' for a description of
each of the parameter icons.
4 Setting parameters
In the Main SET/Welding Screen, rotate Left knob to adjust the
welding current, and rotate Right knob to set the ARC force.
Note: In the Main Settings, please refer to '6.4 Main Settings (Welding parameters)' for
the operation instructions of Left and Right knobs.
5 Start welding
After setting, the welding operation can be carried out.
When welding the display screen shows real-time current and voltage.
