6.11 Gas Test Screen

1. Short press the Gas Test Button the system will
START gas testing
2. Short press the Gas Test Button again to
STOP gas testing.
The GAS TEST will be displayed on the LCD screen, and it will flash
continuously, as shown in the figure below.

6.12 Inch Screen

1. Press and hold the Wire Inch Button, the system
STARTs to inch the wire.
2. Release the button to
STOP the wire inch.
The LCD screen displays INCH and flashes continuously,
as shown in the figure below.

6.13 Aluminium Welding & Additional Notes
The Advance III range does not have a dedicated synergic set-up for welding
aluminium and its alloys. The Manual MIG mode in 2T trigger setting is therefore
recommended for all non-ferrous alloys when using the Advance III series.
When using the Advance III Remote wire feeder machines, please note the TIG
and MMA modes are not available on the remote wire feeder control panel.
