5.3

Factory Settings (voltage/USB)

Select the voltage mode (120 V/240 V) and the optional USB connection.
The procedure is described below.
(1) In the service menu, press the [↓ ] or [↑ ] key to select [SHIP] (factory settings).
(2) Press the [→ ] key, which displays "120V."
Press the [↓ ] or [↑ ] key to select the voltage mode and USB option status, and press the
[Enter] key to confirm the settings.

5.4

Switching ON and OFF the Setting Information Lock

There will be cases where the setting information lock must be switched OFF to perform readjustment,
such as due to calibration error. In such cases, follow the procedure below to switch ON or OFF the
setting information lock.
5.4.1

Unlocking the Setting Information

(1) In the service menu, select [NVRAM] → [EDIT] (edit data).
(2) Enter an address of "0226" and edit the lower number
(227 on the right side) from "01" to "00."
(3) In the service menu, confirm that "LOCK" is displayed.
5.4.2

Locking the Setting Information

(1) In the service menu, select [LOCK].
(2) The confirmation message "OK?" is displayed. Press the [Enter] key to lock the setting information.
CAUTION: Failing to lock setting information could result in malfunctions or invalid operations
to be not recognized as errors. In other words, if the information is left unlocked, an
incorrect span calibration could prevent obtaining correct measurement data, or
failure to detect a broken open/close switch could result in the cover remaining open
with the heater ON.
