5.9 CLEANING THE AIR FILTERS

Air filter inserts are placed on pneumatic
system connection lines. They are re-
usable and cannot be replaced unless
they are mechanically damaged.
THE SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES
• Reduce pressure in the supply line.
The pressure in the pipe can be
reduced by pushing the plug of
the pneumatic connection as far
as it will go.
• Slide out the filter securing lock (1).
• Hold the filter cover (2).
• Hold the filter cover (2) with your
other hand. After removing the slide,
the cover will be pushed out by the

spring located in the filter housing.
• After removing the slide, the cover
will be pushed out by the spring lo-
cated in the filter housing. Installation
should be in reverse order.
