HYDRAULIC SYSTEM CHECKING

CHECKING THE THIGHTNESS OF THE
• Hitch trailer to tractor. Connect all
hydraulic system hoses according to
the instructions in the manual.
• Clean hose connections, hydraulic
cylinders and couplings.
• Activate all hydraulic systems in turn,
extending and retracting the piston
rods of the cylinders. Repeat all op-
erations 3-4 times.
• Leave the hydraulic cylinders fully
extended. Check all hydraulic circuits
for leaks.
• After completing the inspection, put
all cylinders to the rest position.
In the event of oiling on the hydraulic cyl-
inder body, the nature of the leakage must
be checked. When the cylinder is fully ex-
tended, check the seal locations. Slight
leaks are permissible with symptoms of
"sweating", however in the event of no-
ticing leaks in the form of "droplets" stop
using the trailer until the fault is remedied.
If a malfunction has appeared in the brake
cylinders, it is forbidden to drive the trailer
with a damaged system until the fault is

removed.
If visible moisture appears on the cable
connectors, tighten the connector with
a specified torque and carry out the test
again. If the problem persists replace the
leaking element. Rubber hydraulic hoses
should be replaced every 4 years re-
gardless of their technical condition. This
operation should be entrusted to spe-
cialized workshops.
CHECKING THE TECHNICAL CON-
DITION OF HYDRAULIC CONNECTORS
Hydraulic couplings for connecting to the
tractor must be technically sound and
kept clean. Each time before connecting,
make sure that the sockets in the tractor
are maintained in good condition. The
tractor's and trailer's hydraulic systems
are sensitive to the presence of solid im-
purities that can cause damage to precise
components of the installation (scratch the
surface of cylinders, etc.)
