W ith thorough care and cleaning your appliance will
C l e a n i n g a n d m a i n t e n a n c e
retain its looks and remain in good order. We will
explain here how you should care for and clean your
appliance correctly.

Warning – Risk of electric shock!
Do not use any high-pressure cleaners or steam
cleaners, which can result in an electric shock.

Warning – Risk of burns!
The appliance becomes very hot. Never touch the
interior surfaces of the cooking compartment or the
heating elements. Always allow the appliance to cool
down. Keep children at a safe distance.

Warning – Risk of burns!
Bulbs become very hot when switched on. There is still
a risk of burning for some time after they have been
switched off. Allow the bulbs to cool down before
cleaning the appliance. Switch off appliance light
during cleaning.

Warning – Risk of injury!
Scratched glass in the appliance door may develop into
a crack. Do not use a glass scraper, sharp or abrasive
cleaning aids or detergents.

Cleaning agents

Pay attention to the information in the table to avoid
damaging the various surfaces by incorrect cleaning
agents.

harsh or abrasive cleaning agents

Thoroughly rinse out new sponge cloths before use.

Wipe down using a microfibre cloth or a
slightly damp cloth.
Do not wipe with a wet cloth.
Stainless steel
Hot soapy water: Clean using a dishcloth
and then dry with a soft cloth. Remove
limescale, grease, starch and albumin (e.g.
egg white) stains immediately. Corrosion
can form under these patches or splashes.

are available from our after-sales service or
from specialist retailers.
