OPERATING THE UNIT
Next, you can set the month. xxMxxD and xx:xx now
appears on the display and xxM flashes. You can now
set the month by pressing the save button "MEM" (C).
With every press of the button the value increases by
1; values from 1 to 12 are possible. You can save your
setting by pressing the "SET" button (B) once more.
xxD now flashes on the display. To set the tag, press the save button "MEM" (C). With each
press of the button, the value increases by 1; values
from 00 to 31 are possible. You can save your setting by
pressing the "SET" button (B) once more.
Next, you set the time. xxMxxD and xx:xx now appear
on the display and xx: flashes; first, you can set the hour
by pressing the save button "MEM" (C). With every
press of the button, the value increases by 1; values
from 1 to 23 are possible. You can save your setting by
pressing the "SET" button (B) once more.
Now flashes on the display: xx. To set the minutes press the save button "MEM" (C). With
each press of the button, the value increases by 1; values
from 00 to 59 are possible. You can save your setting
by pressing the "SET" button (B) once more. "CL" now
appears, your setting is completed by pressing the
"SET" setting button (B) again.
3. It is possible to change users before each
measurement. To this end, press the "Set" setting
button (B) 2x and select the user by pressing the
"MEM" save button (C). To leave setting mode and
begin the measurement, you now press the START/
STOP button (A).
Before the measurement
Before you carry out a blood pressure measurement you should remain entirely calm for 5 - 10
minutes, not eat, not drink any alcohol, not smoke, not do any sport and not bathe. All of these
factors influence the measurement result. Remove items of clothing that are tight on your upper
arm. Always measure on the same arm (normally left). Carry out the measurement regularly at
the same time of day, because blood pressure changes during the day.
