Troubleshooting
- Before contacting a service center, perform the following simple checks.
They may save you the time and expense of an unnecessary call.

Moisture Condensation
- If the camcorder is brought directly from a cold place to a warm place,
moisture may condense inside the camcorder, on the surface of the
tape, or on the lens. In this condition, the tape may stick to the head
drum and be damaged or the unit may not operate correctly.
To prevent possible damage under these circumstances, the camcorder is
furnished with moisture sensor.
- If there is moisture inside the camcorder, "DEW" is displayed.
If this happens, none of the functions except cassette ejection will work.
Open the cassette compartment and remove the battery.
Leave the camcorder for at least two hours in a dry warm room.

Condensación de humedad
- Si la videocámara pasa directamente de un lugar frío a uno cálido, se
puede condensar la humedad en su interior, en la superficie de la cinta o
en la lente. En estas condiciones, la cinta se puede enganchar al tambor
del cabezal y dañarse o puede que la unidad no funcione correctamente.
Para evitar daños, la videocámara está provista de un sensor de
humedad.
- Si hay humedad en el interior de la videocámara, se visualiza "DEW". Si
ocurre esto, no se podrá utilizar ninguna de las funciones excepto la de
expulsión de la cinta. Abra el compartimento de la cinta y extraiga la
batería. Deje la batería durante un mínimo de dos horas en una habitación
cálida.
Informa que...
lento la batería está casi descargada.
la batería está completamente descargada. Cámbiela por una cargada.
lento el tiempo restante de la cinta es de
3 minutos aproximadamente.
no la cinta ha llegado al final.
lento no hay ninguna cinta en la videocámara.
lento la cinta está protegida contra
