Basic Recording

Making the First Recording

Make sure that you make these preparations.
Did you connect a power source? (Battery Pack or DC cable)
Did you set the Power switch to the CAMERA position?
Did you insert a cassette?
Open the LCD monitor and make sure that STBY is displayed in the
OSD. (If the protection tab of the cassette is opened, STOP will be
displayed)
If you want to see the image in the Viewfinder, close the LCD monitor.
Did you open the LENS CAP?
Make sure the image you want to shoot appears in the LCD monitor or
Viewfinder.
Make sure the battery level indicates that there is
enough remaining power for recording.
- To start recording, press the START/STOP button.
Recording starts and REC is displayed on the LCD.
- To stop recording, press the START/STOP
button again.
Recording stops and STBY is displayed on the LCD.
When a cassette is loaded and the camcorder is left in the STBY mode
for over 3 minutes without being used, it will switch off automatically.
To use it again, push the START/STOP button or set the Power switch
to OFF and then back to CAMERA. This Auto Power off feature is
designed to save battery power.
Edit Search
- You can view a recorded scene with the EDIT +, –
function in STBY mode. EDIT – enables you to
reverse and EDIT + enables you to forward, for as
long as you keep pressing.
- If you press the the EDIT – button quickly in STBY
mode, your camcorder will play back in reverse for
3 seconds and return to the original position automatically.

Compruebe si ha hecho lo siguiente.
¿Ha conectado una fuente de alimentación? (Batería o cable CC)
¿Ha colocado el selector de alimentación en la posición CAMERA?
¿Ha insertado una cinta?
Abra el monitor de LCD y asegúrese de que se visualiza STBY en el
OSD. (Si la pestaña de protección de la cinta está abierta, se visu-
alizará STOP)
Si desea ver la imagen en el visor, cierre el monitor de LCD.
¿Ha abierto la TAPA DE LA LENTE?
Asegúrese de que la imagen que desea grabar
aparece en el monitor de LCD o en el visor.
Asegúrese de que el nivel de batería indica que
queda suficiente carga para la grabación.
- Para empezar a grabar, pulse el botón
START/STOP. La grabación empieza y se visual-
iza REC en la LCD.
- Para detener la grabación, pulse el botón
START/STOP de nuevo. La grabación se detiene
y se visualiza STBY en la LCD.
Cuando hay una cinta cargada y se deja la videocámara en modo STBY
durante más de 3 minutos sin utilizar, se apagará automáticamente. Para
volverla a utilizar, pulse el botón START/STOP o coloque el selector de
alimentación en la posición OFF y, a continuación, de nuevo en CAMERA.
Esta función de apagado automático está diseñada para ahorrar batería.
Búsqueda de secuencia
- Puede ver una escena grabada con la función EDIT
+, – en modo STBY. EDIT – le permite rebobinar y
EDIT + le permite avanzar, mientras mantiene pulsa-
dos los botones.
- Si pulsa el botón EDIT – rápidamente en modo
STBY, la videocámara reproducirá en invertido
durante 3 segundos y volverá a la posición original
automáticamente.
