RIGGERING
Edge triggering is a mode by which triggering occurs at the threshold of the input signal's
edge. With Edge triggering selected, the trigger occurs on the rising or falling edge of the
input signal (Figure 23).
The Edge triggering menu is described in the following table

Description
Triggering on the rising edge of the signal
Triggering on the falling edge of the signal.
CH1 is used as the trigger source
CH2 is used as the trigger source
Acquisition of waveforms is possible even if
there is no triggering condition detected
Acquisition of waveforms can only be performed
when the triggering condition is satisfied
Sampling is performed on a waveform when one
trigger is detected (sampling then stops).
