7. On the right side of the radiator:
A. Remove four (4) self–tapping screws and lock
washers that secure oil cooler shroud to radiator.
B. Remove self–tapping screw and lock washer that
secures lower radiator shroud to radiator.
8. Remove control cables from engine (Fig. 7).
A. Loosen and remove cap screw and nut that se-
cure end of throttle cable to governor lever. Loosen
and remove screw, flat washer and flange nut that
secure throttle cable clamp to control bracket.
B. Loosen screw that secures choke cable to choke
lever swivel. Loosen screw with washer that secures
choke cable to carburetor.
9. Loosen hose clamp that secures air breather hose to
air intake tube (Fig. 8). Remove hose from tube and pull
hose through ring on bottom of spray control console.
10.Remove fasteners that secure spray control console
to seat box assembly (Fig. 8). Carefully pivot seats and
control console forward to allow radiator access taking
care not to damage wiring harness or throttle cable.
11. Carefully pull upper radiator shroud from radiator.
12.Remove two (2) bolts, flat washers, and hex nuts that
secure the bottom of the radiator to the engine support
frame.
13.Carefully pull radiator up from the machine. Locate
and retrieve cushions from between radiator and frame.
Installation (Figs. 6)
1. Position radiator to the engine support frame. Place
cushions between radiator and frame. Secure radiator
to the support frame with two (2) bolts, flat washers and
hex nuts.
2. Position lower and upper radiator shrouds and oil
cooler shroud to radiator. Attach shrouds to the radiator
with self–tapping screws and lock washers. Make sure
that clearance exists between radiator shrouds and fan
at all points. Secure upper and lower shrouds with
flange head screws and hex nuts.
3. Position radiator tube to radiator. Secure tube to the
radiator with hex nuts and self–tapping screw with lock
washer.
4. Connect pump inlet and upper hoses to the engine.
Secure hoses with hose clamps.
5. Pivot radiator support braces to the radiator. Tighten
fasteners to secure braces to engine and radiator.

6. Carefully pivot seats and spray control console back
in position taking care not to damage wiring harness or
throttle cable. Install fasteners to secure control console
to seat box assembly.
7. Route throttle and choke cables to engine. Install
choke cable to carburetor and throttle cable to control
bracket (Fig. 7). Adjust choke cable (see Adjust Choke
Cable in the Adjustments Section of this Chapter).
8. Pull air breather hose through ring on bottom of
spray control console and install hose to air intake tube
(Fig. 8). Secure hose with hose clamp.
9. Make sure radiator drain is closed. Fill radiator with
coolant (see Operator's Manual).
10.Check position of wires, hydraulic hoses, and control
cables for proper clearance with rotating, high tempera-
ture, and moving components.
11. Start engine and check for proper operation. Check
all hose connections for leaks. Check engine speed and
adjust if needed (see Adjust Engine Speed in the Adjust-
ments section of this Chapter).
