Outdoor unit

Bottom plate heater (EKBPHT03D)
▪ Prevents freeze-up of the bottom plate.
▪ Recommended in areas with low ambient temperature and high humidity.
▪ Required in areas with ambient temperatures between –7°C and –15°C when the
outdoor unit is installed between 1000 m and 2000 m altitude. See
"7.1.2 Additional installation site requirements of the outdoor unit in cold

climates" [ 51] for more information.

User interface (EKRUDAL1)
A main user interface –required for operation– is delivered with the unit as
accessory. Additionally, an optional user interface can be connected to have both:
▪ Control close to the indoor unit (by the main user interface)
▪ Room thermostat functionality in the principal space to be heated (by the
optional user interface)
EKRUDAL1 contains following languages: English, French, Dutch, Italian.
