Module programming

Refer to "LED diagnostics and troubleshooting" for more information and for troubleshooting purposes.

Method 2 (using 2 keys)

Ensure vehicle is in a safe location and cannot move forward during programming. For

vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, make sure the gearshift lever is in the neutral
position.
Wait until the LED turns ON solid red.
2 Note: For Convenience-Only installations without remote start) press the programming button
five times (5x).
The LED turns on solid orange.
Insert the first key and turn it to the ON position.

Wait until the security light turns OFF, then remove the key.

The LED starts flashing green.
Within 3 seconds, but no more than 10 seconds, insert the second key, and turn it to

the ON position.

Wait until the security light turns OFF, then remove it.

The LED starts flashing orange.
Press and hold the module programming button, then apply (+) 12V to the vehicle ignition

wire with a jumper wire (keep holding the programming button).
The LED turns ON solid green for 3 seconds, then turns OFF.

Release the programming button once the module has been successfully programmed.
You have successfully completed the module programming sequence.
