Before Installing RICOH-SCRIPT2

Follow the steps below to use RICOH-SCRIPT2 with the Macintosh LaserWriter
8 printer driver.

Install the PPD file.
Install the unique PPD file for this printer.

Install the ColorSync™ profile.
The profile files are used to maintain the color characteristics of the docu-
ments you create for printing. The ColorSync™ profiles are included in the
CD-ROM that comes with your printer.

Select the printer.
Use [Chooser] on the Apple menu to select the printer and PPD file.

Install screen fonts.
To use the printer's fonts, you should install the corresponding screen fonts.
Once you install them, you can select those fonts for the screen display of
your Macintosh, and the corresponding printer fonts will be used for print-
ing. The screen fonts are included in the CD-ROM that comes with your print-
er.
