Accessories, spare parts
and modification of your
Toyota
A wide variety of non-genuine
spare parts and accessories for
Toyota vehicles are currently avail-
able in the market. Using these
spare parts and accessories which
are not genuine Toyota products
may adversely affect the safety of
your vehicle, even though these
parts may be approved by certain
authorities in your country. Toyota
Motor Corporation therefore can-
not accept any liability or guarantee
spare parts and accessories which
are not genuine Toyota products,
nor for replacement or installation
involving such parts.
This vehicle should not be modified
with non-genuine Toyota products.
Modification with non-genuine
Toyota products could affect its per-
formance, safety or durability, and
may even violate governmental
regulations. In addition, damage or
performance problems resulting
from the modification may not be
covered under warranty.
Installation of an RF-trans-
mitter system
The installation of an RF-transmit-
ter system in your vehicle could
affect electronic systems such as:
 Multiport fuel injection sys-
tem/sequential multiport fuel
injection system
 Toyota Safety Sense
 Cruise control system
 Anti-lock brake system
 SRS airbag system
 Seat belt pretensioner system
