3.2.3.3 Installing T/H Sensors and Cables

Procedure
Step 1 Secure the fastener of the T/H sensor to the wall or ceiling near the UPS.
Step 2 Install the T/H sensor on the fastener.
Step 3 Connect the T/H sensor cables.

Connect the RS485-IN port on the T/H sensor to the COM1 port on the
MUS05A monitoring interface card.
Connect the RS485-OUT port on the T/H sensor to the RS485-IN port on
another T/H sensor.
NO TICE
COM1 is a 6-pin port. Use a communications cable with a connector of 6–8
pins.
