Reception telephone
Function keys and room keys on Aastra M535expansion module
You have a better overview and can serve your guests quicker if you use your recep-
tion telephone with at least one Aastra M535 expansion module.
Function keys:
You can assign a specific function mode to the configurable keys of Aastra M535. You
must configure this mode just once on one Aastra M535 level so it is available on all
three levels. Once this mode is activated, the red LED goes on and all room keys
behave like function keys for this mode.
You can activate only one mode at a time. If no mode is activated, the room keys
behave like team keys.
You can set the following function modes for the reception telephone:
• Reception menu: press the key once to have direct access to the reception menu.
You can save this function on a Foxkey or on a configurable key of the Aastra M530
or Aastra M535 expansion key module.
• Room configuration
configuration. You can save this function on a Foxkey or on a configurable key of
the Aastra M530 or Aastra M535 expansion key module.
• Room configuration: room configuration mode. Sets the room keys of all
Aastra M535 to room configuration mode.
• Check-in: check-in mode. Sets the room keys of all Aastra M535 to Check-in mode.
• Check-out: check-out mode. Sets the room keys of all Aastra M535 to Check-out

• Notification: notification mode. Sets the room keys of all Aastra M535 to notifica-

• Wake-up call: wake-up call mode. Sets the room keys of all Aastra M535 to wake-up
