Example 3, Speed dialing

Besides using the Speed Dial page on the web interface to program speed dial numbers, you can also
put the functionality on the freely programmable function keys with LEDs on the phone or a connected
expansion module. In our example, key P19 on page 4 of the function keys will be used to speed dial
the number 6175550704.
1. On the phone's web interface, click on Function Keys in the menu on the left.
2. Under Context of Page 4/P19, select "Active" or one of the configured identities from the drop-
down list.
3. Under Type of Page 4/P19, select "Speed Dial" from the drop-down list.
4. In the Number text field of Page 4/P19, enter the phone number that you want to be able to speed
dial. In our example it is phone number 555-0704 in area code 617.
Type each phone number with any necessary area code and/or country code etc. without spaces,
hyphens, etc. Example: In conventional notation you might write the number as (917) 555-0184.
Type 6175550704 into the text field.
5. Optional: In the Short Text text field, enter a name or other descriptive text. If the text field is
empty, the label area will display the number.
6. Click on Apply and Save.
You can now speed dial the number 6175550704 by selecting page 4 on the label screen, as indicated
by the horizontal bar at the top of the screen, and pressing key the LED key adjacent to the label.
Note: The page with the key mapped for speed dialing the number must be on-screen in order
for you to use the function.
