TRIM EQ
On the rear panel of the HUB speaker, you'll find two TRIM EQ knobs which enable you to boost or cut the High
Frequencies and Low Frequencies produced by the speaker by small degrees in order to compensate for the acoustics
of the room you're listening in.

The Trim EQ controls are absent on the rear panel of the SATELLITE speaker. However, whatever your TRIM EQ
settings are on the HUB, these same settings will also migrate into the SATELLITE speaker wirelessly, so long as both
speakers are from the same product family line, and are both the same size. For example, the EQ will migrate if the
HUB and SATELLITE are both VEGA 4S products, but will not migrate if the Hub is a VEGA 8S and the SATELLITE is a
VEGA 6S.
Here's how TRIM EQ MIGRATION works in 3 specific speaker configurations:
1. HUB & SATELLITE. This is the common case when the HUB is set to either Bluetooth or Analog input, and the
SATELLITE speaker is Bonded to the HUB and playing audio from it. In this case, the TRIM EQ will migrate to the
SATELLITE automatically, whenever you adjust it on the HUB —it will arrive and be installed in the SATELLITE
within a few seconds of you changing the setting on the HUB.
2. CLUSTERED RECEIVERS. If you have set the HUB to SKAA mode, it will behave exactly like a SATELLITE. For
instance, if you are feeding both speakers from a SKAA-enabled Cerwin Vega Pro mixer, a Dani transmitter or any
other SKAA transmitter, you'll want both of your VEGA STUDIO MONITORS to act as SKAA receivers (in other
words, to both act as SATELLITES).
The CLUSTER UP process can be used in this situation to combine the two speakers into a CLUSTER of receivers.
Then, rather than functioning independently, both speakers will work "as one." If you change the TRIM EQ on the
HUB, it will automatically migrate to the SATELLITE whenever you do. It will show up and be installed on the
SATELLITE a few seconds after you make the change.
3. NON-CLUSTERED RECEIVERS.
Temporarily set up your HUB and SATELLITE as in case 1 above. Once your HUB and SATELLITE are both
outputting the same audio, set the TRIM EQ to your taste. The TRIM EQ will migrate to the SATELLITE within a few
seconds. Then change your HUB to SKAA mode (so it behaves like a SATELLITE) and Bond both your speakers to a
Cerwin Vega Pro mixer or any other SKAA transmitter. Since the TRIM EQ is stored in the SATELLITE in non-
volatile memory, your settings will remain installed in the SATELLITE, even if you power cycle the SATELLITE.
