OEM remote starter detection: If the vehicle is already equipped with an OEM remote starter, the installer must disconnect it before

installing the DS4+ otherwise it will not program. (For more information see "OEM remote starter detection")
Motorized Hatch feature: If available, the Motorized Hatch feature needs to be enabled using the configuration tool found on the

module flashing page on www.directechs.com.
Remote Start: To remote start the vehicle, all doors must be closed and locked.

Manual Transmission: For manual transmission vehicles, "Safelock" needs to be enabled for proper remote start operation.

The optional Plug & Play THTON7 T-Harness is sold separately.

Loose T-harness wires: All T-Harness wires not listed in the diagram are not required for the installation. Loose wires such as

Siren Output and Hood Input may need to be pulled from the tapped section of the T-Harness. Refer to the "Wiring diagram with
T-Harness" for more information on connections and installation instructions.
Unless specified otherwise, all connectors are displayed from the wire side, with the exception of the OBDII diagnostic connector.

Siren: The siren is only required when enabling the security features during module flashing.

PTS: This connection is only required for Pit Stop/ Idle mode in manual transmission vehicles or Ready mode for vehicles with hybrid

SLP: Depending on the production date of your vehicle, there may not be an SLP connector at the steering column.

- THTON7 T-Harness installation without SLP connector: you must make modifications to the T-Harness for the (12V) & (Ground). See
wiring diagram for additional information.
- Hardwire installation without SLP connector: Connection not required.

Security-only: For security-only installations using THTON7 T-Harness, refer to the "Locating components in the vehicle" section for
