1. PREPARATION S BEFORE IN STALLATION
Check that quantity of each unit was calculated appropriately for actual conditions of the site.
- Maximum zone numbers controllable of this system are 160 zones and maximum numbers connectable of
SP-100 are 128pcs.
- Zones controllable by a SP-100 are 6 zones. SP-100 should exist as at least numbers/ 6 of total zones to be
controlled.
- 8 total of SR-100 can be connected. Be aware that different priorities are applied depending on the
address of SR-100 back side. Address 1 has the highest priority at SR-100, and Address 8 has the lowest
priority at SR-100. Check link with an external unit.
- Since time alarm function is internally built-in, link with the external time alarm machine is not done.
- Telephone Paging Broadcast not supported
2. M ETHOD TO IN STALL
- Do not perform wiring with the unit power-O n or connect both SP-100 and SR-100 with power-O n.
- Locate SM-100 at the height of eyes so that operation is easy if using it on a rack.
- Check that the DC+24V are normally output after powering on the PD-9359A. Complete remained wiring
including power cords.
- Ensure to use UPS since the SI-100 unit has not a DC INPUT in consideration of the emergency broadcast system.
3. CAUTION S IN IN STALLATION
Since the unit may be damaged such as inflow of over-current through external line due to accident during
all types of construction, evacuate the site after separating the fire contact input terminals and speaker lines
from A C cords of the PD-9359A , after completing unit test where product installation site is a newly
constructed environment. Connect power and contact signal for use only when testing before environment will
be stabilized.
