CYLINDER HEAD
8. Check:
• "I" mark a
Align the "I" mark on the A.C. magneto rotor
with the stationary pointer b on the crank-
case.
• "I" mark c
Align the "I" mark on the camshaft sprocket
with the stationary pointer d on the cylinder
head.
Out of alignment → Correct.
Refer to the installation steps above.
9. Measure:
• valve clearance
Out of specification → Adjust.
Refer to
CLEARANCE" in chapter 3.
10.Install:
• engine cooling fan
• engine cooling fan bolts
11.Install:
• air shroud (right)
• engine cooling fan cover 1
• engine cooling fan cover screws 2
• air shroud (left)
• rubber cover
12.Install:
• camshaft sprocket cover
• camshaft sprocket cover bolts
13.Install:
• exhaust tappet cover
• intake tappet cover
