Using multitabs

Many multitabs already contain dishwash-
er detergent, dishwasher salt and rinse aid,
meaning that you do not need to use these
three products separately. In this case, you
can ignore the 'Add rinse aid'
dishwasher salt' (7) indicators.
If your water is in the
– "soft" to "medium" hardness range, multi-
tabs will deliver good results.
– "hard" range, we recommend that you do
not use multitabs and instead use dish-
washer detergent, dishwasher salt and
rinse aid individually.
To determine and adjust the water
hardness, see page EN-29.
1. Pull back the catch (26) on the detergent
dispenser (21).
The cover will pop open.
2. Place a multitab in compartment (A) of
the detergent dispenser (21).
3. Push the dispenser cover closed so that
the catch (26) clicks into place once
again.

Adding rinse aid

NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Using an excessive amount of rinse aid
can lead to increased foaming and can
compromise the rinsing results.
■ Wipe away rinse aid that has over-
fl owed immediately.
■ Take note of the markings for the
maximum fi ll quantities ("max") in
the rinse aid dispenser.
■ Prior to rinsing, always ensure that
the rinse aid dispenser is closed.
Using unsuitable substances can cause
damage to the dishwasher.
■ Only put rinse aids that are suitable
for dishwashers into the rinse aid dis-
penser.
You do not need to add rinse aid to the
detergent compartment if you are
exclusively using multitabs which already
contain rinse aid.
Prior to the first use and when the display no-
tification 'Add rinse aid'
rinse aid.
As rinse aid is automatically dispensed during
operation, it ensures that the dishes are spot-
free and accelerates the drying process.
