Cleaning the front of the
appliance and the door seal
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
Improper use of this appliance may
lead to electric shock.
■ Prior to cleaning, switch off the ap-
pliance, pull out the mains plug and
switch off the fuse.
■ Never spray the appliance with a wa-
ter jet (high-pressure cleaner).
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
The door seals are sensitive to oil and
grease. The surfaces can be damaged
by unsuitable cleaning agents.
■ Do not use harsh, aggressive, sol-
vent-based or abrasive cleaners.
■ Do not grease the door seals.
If water gets into the lock, the lock and
the electric components in the appli-
ance door may become damaged.
■ Only use a damp cloth to clean the in-
ner edges of the door.
■ Do not use any cleaning sprays.
1. Wipe the front of the appliance with a
damp cloth and some all-purpose clean-
ing product and wipe it off with a dry tow-
el.
2. Clean the door seal and the inside of the
door regularly with a damp cloth.

filters
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Using the appliance without the fi l-
ters or with improperly fi tted fi lters can
cause the dishwashing performance to
be impeded or may damage the device.
■ Prior to launching a dishwashing pro-
gramme, always ensure that the fi l-
ters have been correctly installed in
the appliance.
■ Clean the fi lters at least once a week.
■ Clean the fi lters with care; do not
bend them.
■ Only replace the fi lters with genuine
replacement parts.
Check the coarse filter, the main filter and the
fine filter after each rinse cycle and remove
food residues and foreign bodies if neces-
sary:
1. Empty the dish rack and remove it.
2. Rotate the top part of the filter in an anti-
clockwise direction and remove the filters
in an upward direction.
3. Clean the filters carefully under running
water.
4. Replace the filters and rotate the top part
in a clockwise direction up to the stop
point.
