REGULAR MAINTENANCE
Any qualified repair shop can maintain, replace or repair
the emission control device or system on your vehicle.
Authorized dealers can perform any services that may be
required for your vehicle. Parts are also recommended for
emissions-related services, but equivalent parts can be
used.
If the part provided by the after-sales component
manufacturer reduces the effectiveness of vehicle emission
control, this is a potential violation of the Clean Air Act.
Violation of the law prohibits pollution discharge control.
The user is responsible for performing the regular
maintenance specified in the user manual. Careful and
regular maintenance will help keep the vehicle safe and
reliable. Check, clean, lubricate, adjust and replace parts
when necessary. When the inspection shows that the
parts need to be replaced, new parts can be obtained from
the dealer. Equivalent components that can be used for
emissions-related services. If you are not familiar with
security services and adjustment procedures, qualified
dealers can perform these operations. The maintenance
intervals in the chart below are based on average riding
conditions. Frequently used vehicles must be checked and
repaired more often.
