This system is designed to provide worry-free operation of your hydraulically controlled booms.   • Page 6: Electrical Safety Precautions

    Objects or materials that are able to bypass the machine’s hydraulic filtration system will adversely reduce performance and possibly damage the Autoboom hydraulic valves. Electrical Safety Precautions Do not reverse the power leads. Doing so will cause severe damage to the equipment.

  • Page 13 Manual # 016-0130-006 Rev A 02/06 H A P T E R H E E L A N D E N S O R O U N T I N G A gauge wheel is needed on the G1 system and is an option on the G2 system. On a G1 system, the gauge wheel detects where the ground is in order to maintain the optimal spray/boom height.
  • Page 14 AGCO Rogator 64 & 74 Series Autoboom Installation Manual 1. Mount the wheel receiver bracket to the boom inside of the tip fold point. Helpful Hint: The bracket shown differs from the one included in your kit. The supplied bracket will mount to the bottom of the boom frame.

    Y D R A U L I C S If the installer has a general knowledge of the machine’s hydraulic system, the Autoboom hydraulics are relatively simple to install. This section will cover the valve configuration and mounting, and also the hydraulic hose installation. Be sure to follow the safety guidelines, as hydraulic systems are under pressure even when the machine is turned off.
  • Page 18 AGCO Rogator 64 & 74 Series Autoboom Installation Manual Mounting the Hydraulic Valve 1. After attaching the mounting plate to the valve, mount the Autoboom hydraulic block to the right of the stack valve on the rear rack on the machine, using the supplied u-bolts and nuts.

    1. Insert the supplied -6 JIC swivel tee into the pressure line on the stack valve. 2. Connect the straight end of hose (P/N 214-1000-233) to the tee fitting. 3. Connect the 90 degree end of the hose to the P Port on the Autoboom valve.
  • Page 20 1. Insert a supplied -8 JIC tee into the tank line on the stack valve. 2. Connect the straight end of the hose (P/N 214-1000-297) to the fitting installed in step one. 3. Connect the 90 degree end of the hose to the T port of the Autoboom valve.
  • Page 21 4. Attach the original left ‘Up’ hose to the Tee fitting. 5. Attach the 90 degree end of the hose (P/N 214-1000-298) to the other side of the tee fitting. 6. Run the hose to the LC port on the Autoboom valve.
  • Page 22 5. Attach the 90 degree end of the hose (P/N 214-1000-298) to the other side of the Tee fitting. G1 Systems: 6. Connect the previously installed hose to the RC Port on the Autoboom valve. G2 Systems: 6. Connect the previously installed hose to the Aux Port as shown below.

    2. Attach the Black DIN connector to the On/Off valve in port 4A on the Autoboom Block. 3. Attach the Black MiniDIN connector to the pressure transducer located in either port G1 or G2 on the Autoboom Block. IMPORTANT: Be sure to match the “white” dot on the pressure transducer and miniDIN connector.
