ASSEMBLY HYDRAULICS
The hydraulic supply points are on the back
of the device:
heating circuit water output (fl ow)
heating circuit water input (return)
.
All pipe connections are 2" external threads (conical pipe
threads).

Heating circuit water supply point:

The heating system must be very well rinsed before connecting
the heat pump to prevent that eventual contaminations inside the
heating system may disturb the function of the heat pump.
At the heat pump side, fl ow and return must be equipped with
blocking devices to allow eventual rinsing of the condenser.
The hydraulic integration must be executed according to the
prescriptions in the project planning manual.
Please pay particular attention to the following:
Please assure that the heating circuit water minimum fl ow
rate is available.
The minimum heating circuit water fl ow rate depends on the
heating power of the heat pump - for further details, see tech-
nical data sheets of the heat pumps.
The spread between fl ow and return must be < 10K
Buffer tank
For the hydraulic integration, a series buffer tank is needed
to assure minimum operating time and to limit the number of
restarts of the heat pump.
Size of the buffer tank:
V Buffer tank
Bivalent installations: please assure the heat pump is never
fl own through by heating circuit water temperatures exceed-
ing 55°C.
Circulation pump
The heating circuit water and household hot water circulation
pumps must be stepped.
Service water heating
The service water heating with the heating heat pump will be
effected by a second heating circuit water circle in parallel
with the heating circle. Please note: the return of the service
water heating must not be led through the buffer tank.
Service water tank
For service water heating with the heating heat pump, special
service water tanks are necessary. The heat exchanger sur-
face must be big enough to assure that the heat pump heat-
ing power transmission at a heating water fl ow temperature
< 55°C will be with lowest possible spread. The tank volume
should be big enough to assure that the necessary service
water quantity will be available also during an off-time by the
local energy supply company.
