General
Operative range
The heat pump is designed exclusively for the heating of
heating circuit water and service water. In accordance with
the application limits (see "Technical Details" in the annex),
the heat pump can be installed in new or existing heating
installations.
Functioning of the brine / water heat pump
The heat pump converts the low temperature heat of
the earth into high temperature heat. Brine (a mixture
of water and antifreeze agent) is pumped through coils
laid in the earth and led over the evaporator of the heat
pump. The evaporator includes the liquid agent which boils
and vaporizes at low temperature and low pressure. The
necessary vaporizing heat is withdrawn from the brine. The
compressor sucks in the vaporized agent and compresses
it to achieve a higher pressure. The compressed gaseous
agent is pressed into the condenser, where it condenses
at high pressure and high temperature. The condensation
heat is transferred to the heating circuit water whose
temperature is rising.
The energy transmitted to the heating circuit water
corresponds to the energy withdrawn / extracted from
the brine plus the small part of electric energy which is
necessary for the compression.
Energy-saving use of the heat pump heating
installation
By choosing a heat pump heating installation, you paid
your tribute to environmental protection by lower emissions
and less consumption of primary energy. To make your
new heating system work as effi ciently as possible, please
observe the following:
The heat pump heating installation must be dimensioned
and installed thoroughly.
Avoid unnecessary high fl ow temperatures. The
lower the fl ow temperature at the heating circuit
water side is, the more effi ciently the heat pump
works.
Attention: The controller must be set correctly!
Preferably open the window totally to renew the
air. Compared to constantly pivot-hung windows
opening outward, this kind of ventilation reduces the
energy consumption and saves money!
