Accessing Components

Disconnect power before attempting maintenance or repair.
The gas valve and electrical components are located under the burner tray. To access the components,
follow the steps below.

Removing the Media Trays


Remove the glass wind guard and all
the crushed glass media (if already
installed).

Remove the (2) screws that
secure the end media trays to
the fireplace. Lift the media
tray end pieces out of the
fireplace and set them aside
for reinstallation.

Removing the Burner Tray Assembly

NOTE: If you are accessing the gas or electrical connections you do not need to remove anything else on the top
portion of the burner tray. If you are trying to gain access to the pressure tap or to convert the
appliance to LP gas, skip these instructions in this shaded box and proceed to the next section.

With the end sections of the media tray
removed you grasp the remaining
sections of the medIa tray and lift the
burner assembly upward to remove it from
the firebox.
