A file is the collection of data under one name.
Formatting
Formatting divides the memory area on a magnetic data medium into
tracks and sectors. Formatting deletes all the data on a data medium.

time.

The interruption of program processing in the processor of a
programming device / programmable controller by an interrupt event.
