Step 17h (conditional): Detach the two-port Ethernet SFP+ PCI
card from the riser card
The two-port Ethernet SFP+ PCI card is an optional component of an S30
Node. If the S30 Node includes the SFP+ PCI card, you need to detach this
card from the riser card. You also need to replace the short face plate on the
SFP+ PCI card with a long face plate.
To detach the two-port Ethernet SFP+ PCI card from the riser card:
1. Using the #2 Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the middle screw on the lip at
the edge of the shorter side of the riser card bracket.
2. While holding the two-port Ethernet SFP+ PCI card by the middle of its
long edge, gently but firmly pull the PCI card away from the riser card so
that the pins on the PCI card come straight out of the PCI connector on
the riser card.
