5. Select the Receiver that is used to connect to the siren ("local" in
Figure 5 below.

6. In the Siren serial # field, enter the wireless address printed on the
label on the siren, then click on Power. The signal power level must
be 30% or higher to ensure reliable communications. If this signal
level is below 30%, you may need to use repeaters to cover the range
between your receiver and the siren reliably.
7. Click on Add ==>OK (select)==>OK to confirm addition of the new
siren.
At this point the siren is up and running, ready to react if an alarm
condition is detected on any end-point module in the specified group or
receiver.
Sirens function independently of other alerts, such as telephone, fax and
SMS alerts. Therefore, you do not have to configure Call Groups if you
intend to use siren alerts only.
