Gas/wood/pellet appliances get hot during operation.
Consequently, while the appliance is switched on, care must
be exercised and kept away, especially avoid the proximity
of children, the elderly or other persons requiring special
attention,
as well as pets.
Make sure that children or other people who are not familiar
with the operation
of the appliance are supervised by responsible persons
when they approach it.
To protect yourself from burns and to protect children or
people who must not come into contact with the appliance,
place a fire shield.
There are potential risks to keep in mind when using a solid fuel
stove, regardless of brand. Such risks can be minimized by
following the instructions and recommendations provided in this
manual.
• When positioning the stove, take into account the
distances of
the appliance and the fireplace, from flammable surfaces
(wooden walls or wallpaper, wooden floors, etc.). These
same distances must be respected when the cladding of
the walls or nearby areas is susceptible to
deterioration or deformation due to
the effect of temperature (paints, enamels, PVC, etc.). Fig.3
• The base on which to place the stove must have a flat surface
without any irregularities that prevent correct stabilisation.
This foundation, in turn, must be able to support the weight
of the stove. The support base must be made of resistant
materials
heat.
