familiarise you with your stove, explaining the instructions for
installing, using and maintaining it, which will be very useful.

this manual you need any additional clarification, please do

and tear or faults caused by manufacturing defects.

    II.- INSTALLATION How the FIREPLACE is installed will be integral to its safety and good working order. It is very important that the fireplace is properly installed. A safe installation of the FIREPLACE and the chimney can be difficult and it is advisable to entrust the work to a professional.
  • Page 4 Liveliness of the fire. The hotter the fire, the stronger the draught. Cracks in the chimney, a badly sealed or dirty door, entry of air at tube joints, another device connected to the chimney etc. can cause inadequate draughts. 2.1.2. Formation of creosote and cleaning. When wood is burned slowly, tars and other organic vapours can accumulate in the flue which when combined with the atmospheric humidity form the creosote.
  • Page 5 2.1.4. Some rules. Below are some rules to follow when building the chimney. Use resistant and incombustible materials. Do not use fibre cement. Choose a route which is as vertical and straight as possible and do not connect several appliances to the same chimney. Ensure that the flue does not come out into an area near buildings;...
  • Page 6 It is very important for the joints between tubes to be well sealed in order to close off potential cracks that would allow air to enter. To ensure the chimney is airtight proceed as follows: - Cover the outlet on the roof. - Place paper and damp straw in the lower part of the chimney and ignite.
  • Page 7 Clean the chimney at least once a year. The most effective cleaning method for the chimney ducts is using appropriate chimney brushes. There are chemical products which help to postpone the need for cleaning with brushes. The brushes must be as close as possible in size to the diameter of the chimney. The joints between the tubes making up the chimney, in the event of being simple metal tubes, must be sealed with fireproof filler.
