3. Features

The console drawer has the following features:
･ The console drawer is equipped with 17.3-inch LCD, 103 English(US) Keyboard, and touch pad (with scroll
feature). The console drawer may be mounted on a standard EIA 19-inch rack in space with height of 1U.
･ The console drawer is equipped with 17.3-inch TFT color LCD. The monitor can display the resolution of
1920x1080 pixels in the Full HD mode.
･ The LCD back-light is automatically turned off when the LCD is closed to reduce the power consumption.
･ You can install N8143-109 JP keyboard or N8143-111 UK keyboard on N8143-122F Console Drawer.
･ The console drawer can connect with KVM switch unit.
･ If N8143-122F is connected with nine KVM switch units in cascade connection, up to 64 servers can be
selected.
KVM switch unit can be connected and the OSD (On Screen Display) can be shared. You can select the
desired server while viewing the screen.
･ With KVM switch unit connected with the LCD Console Drawer, you can enter the Hot-Key mode by pressing
[HOT-KEY] switch or by selecting one of three key entries; depression of <Ctrl>+<Alt>+<Shift>, two
successive depressions of <ScrLk>, and two successive depressions of <Ctrl>.
You can avoid duplicate operations (applications or other components using the same key operation as the
hot key operation) by individually enabling or disabling each hot key operation.
･ Pressing the Hot-Key button while in Hot-Key mode of KVM switch unit connected with N8143-122F quits the
Hot-Key mode and goes back to the normal mode screen.
･ Slide rails on console section is locked when console section is pulled out, and unlocked only when the
release levers on left and right sides are pulled. Accordingly, the console is not stored unexpectedly and the
LCD or other components will not be contact with other devices installed on the rack.
