1. Preface

Welcome to our 17.3-inch LCD Console Drawer (1port).
This User's Guide describes the features of 17.3-inch LCD console drawer developed for the NEC Express5800
server.
A 17.3-inch LCD, keyboard, and touchpad are mounted in the 1U space of the rack. An external USB port can
connect with a USB mouse.
Pressing the HOT-KEY switch on the LCD Console Drawer allows you to enter the OSD mode of N8191-14F KVM
Switch Unit (8Server) connected with the console drawer. In OSD mode, you can select a desired server connected
with N8191-14F KVM Switch Unit (8Server) by using the keyboard.
KVM switch unit is used as generic name for N8191-14F KVM Switch Unit (8Server).
