Electrical connection
The electrical connection must only be carried out by a suitably
qualified electrician in accordance with local and national regulations.
Useful tip: Open the machine lid. The connection terminals are
located on the machine support.
When installing a residual current device (RCD), it must be Type B.
The electrical components of this machine comply with
DIN EN 60335-1, DIN EN 50571.
See data plate for voltage data.
If the machine is hard wired, an all-pole isolator must be installed.
Switches with a minimum contact gap greater than 3 mm are suitable
isolators. These include circuit breakers, fuses, and contactors.
The plug connector or isolator switch should be easily accessible at
all times.
If the appliance is disconnected from the electricity supply, the
isolator must be lockable or the point of disconnection must be
monitored at all times.
If the mains connection cable for this machine is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, the Miele Professional
Service Department or a similarly qualified person to avoid risks.
Observe the enclosed wiring diagram.
Reference to external appliances
A reference to external hardware appears.
Confirm with the OK sensor.
Connect the connector box before initial commissioning. The
washing machine must be disconnected from the mains for this
purpose. Then start the commissioning process.
