Chapter 3 Basic Operations — Switching on/off the projector
Initial setting (brightness limitation setting)
Select if the brightness limitation is disabled or not.
After completed the initial setting, you can change the setting from the [SECURITY] menu → [BRIGHTNESS
LIMITATION].
1)
Press qw.
f The security password entry screen is displayed.
2)
Enter a security password and press the <执行> button.
f The [BRIGHTNESS LIMITATION SETTING] screen is displayed.
3)
Press qw to switch the item.
f The items will switch each time you press the button.
[ON]
[OFF]
4)
Press the <菜单> button.
f The [INITIAL SETTING] screen (brightness limitation) is displayed.
5)
Press the <执行> button to proceed to the initial setting.
Note
f The security password is the password set in the [SECURITY] menu → [SECURITY PASSWORD CHANGE].
Initial password of the factory default setting: awsqawsq

BRIGHTNESS LIMITATION
When "BRIGHTNESS LIMITATION" is "ON", the
brightness will be limited.

When incorrect security password is entered, the
brightness will be limited.

Select this item when the projector is used with the brightness limited. In such case, upper limit for
the brightness of the light source will be limited to approximately 33 % (equivalent to the brightness
approximately 10 000 lm) regardless of the [LIGHT OUTPUT] setting.
Select this item when the projector is used with the brightness limitation disabled.
