Adjusts the sound quality of
analogue audio output
"Filter"
You can adjust the sound quality of an analogue
audio output. Stop the playback before setting and
select the mode as your favourite with listening to
the actual sound. Filter name for each mode is as
below.
Mode 1:
Slow Roll-off (minimum phase)
Mode 2:
Slow Roll-off (linear phase)
Mode 3:
Fast Roll-off (minimum phase)
• The factory default is "Mode 1".
• Set "Analog Output" to "On" to use this function.
Note
• The specific filtering setting is given priority and
this setting cannot be changed in the following
conditions.
 While playing back DSD signal
Audio CD
 "MQA Decoding" is set to "On".
 "Coherent Processing" is set to "On".

1: The setting can be changed and the setting filter
is available for DSD signal which is input to this
unit from USB device or network device (DMP/
DMR) only when "DSD Native" is set to "Off".
Setting the limitation of
headphones output
"PHONES VOL Limitation"
You can set an upper limit on the headphones
output to avoid the extremely high volume when
turning this unit or playing back.
• The factory default is "On".
