RAS-Extend M Wireless Terminal

The RAS-Extend M wireless terminal provides the Ethernet and wireless interfaces
necessary to provide secure reliable TCP/IP transport. This unit also provides control and
power to the antenna positioner. The two GPS antennas are used to determine position,
speed and direction.

Control & Power Out
This Control & Power Out port (10-pin / F) delivers DC power and position control
signals to the antenna positioner unit. A pre-terminated cable is provided to connect the
wireless terminal to the antenna positioner.

Data and Power In

The Data & Power In port (11-pin / M) delivers DC power and Ethernet data from the
Power Supply. A pre-terminated cable is provided to connect the wireless terminal to the
Power Supply.

GPS Antenna In

The two GPS antenna ports (N-Type / F) located on the top of the wireless terminal
conduct RF signals from attached (active) GPS antenna systems. The GPS system is
used to determine the location, speed and direction of the RAS-Extend M system. Pre-
terminated cables are provided to connect the wireless terminal to the GPS antennas.
RF-1 / RF-2
The two RF ports (TNC / F) on the bottom of the wireless terminal conduct RF signals
between the wireless terminal and the antenna system (via the positioner). A pre-
terminated cable is provided to connect the wireless terminal to the antenna positioner.
