Corn Chowder

1 large potato, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch pieces
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
1 can (15 oz.) cream-style corn
1 can (15 oz.) whole kernel corn, undrained
1 cup chicken broth
3/4 cup sliced celery
3/4 cup chopped carrots
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
DIRECTIONS:
1. Remove bread pan; attach kneading blade.
2. Combine all ingredients; pour into bread pan. Cover pan.
3. Insert bread pan, close lid and plug in.
4. Press SELECT until setting number 13 is displayed.
Press timer button until :50 is displayed. Press START.
5. Salt and pepper to taste.

Chili

1 cup water
1 cup beef broth
2 cans (14-1/2 oz. each ) diced chili-style tomatoes, undrained
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 lb. very lean ground beef, crumbled
1 can (15 oz.) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup sliced celery
3/4 cup chopped onions
DIRECTIONS:
1. Remove bread pan; attach kneading blade.
2. Combine water, broth, tomatoes and salt; pour into
bread pan. Add ground beef (brown meat in a skillet),
beans, celery and onions. Cover pan.
3. Insert bread pan, close lid and plug in.
4. Press SELECT until setting number 13 is displayed.
Press timer button until 1:30 is displayed. Press START.
5. Garnish individual servings of soup with bacon,
sour cream and green onions.

Chunky Applesauce

2-1/2 cups apple cider or juice
2 tablespoons cornstarch dissolved in 2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2-1/2 lbs. Golden Delicious apples, cored and cut into chunks
1 cup golden raisins
1 teaspoon butter or margarine
DIRECTIONS:
1. Remove bread pan; attach kneading blade.
2. Combine cider, dissolved cornstarch, honey, cinnamon
and ginger; pour into bread pan. Add apples and raisins.
Cover pan
3. Insert bread pan, close lid and plug in.
4. Press SELECT until setting number 13 is displayed
and set timer to 1:30. Press START.

Slow Cooker Items

Pork and Potatoes Dinner

4 cups chicken broth
2 cans (15 oz. each) cream-style corn
1 cup chopped onion
1 large potato, peeled and thinly sliced (about 8 oz.)
1-1/2 lbs. pork butt roast, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 teaspoon oregano
1 package (10 oz.) frozen peas, thawed
DIRECTIONS:
1. Remove bread pan.
2. Combine broth, corn and onion; pour into bread pan.
Add remaining ingredients, except peas, in order listed.
Cover pan.
3. Insert bread pan, close lid and plug in.
4. Press SELECT until setting number 14 is displayed.
Press START.
5. Pour mixture into serving dish; stir in peas.
