I/O Connectors
The ZT 4901 provides the following connectors and features to interface with application-specific
devices:
•
The J10 board-to-board connector interfaces directly with a compatible connector on the
ZT 5524 Processor Board.
•
The J1 and J2 Compact PCI connectors interface with the backplane CompactPCI bus when
the board is inserted into a system master slot.
•
The J5 RPIO connector interfaces with the backplane's rear panel I/O connector.
•
Front-panel access is available for both PMC sites.
•
Front panel access is available for two, customer provided, Fibre Channel transceiver
modules.

Attaching the IOX Board to the Processor Board
The IOX board must be attached to a host processor board before it can be installed in a system.
The following hardware is included with the ZT 4901 to attach it to the ZT 5524 Processor Board:
•
Roundhead Screws (5): Used to attach the standoffs to the ZT 4901.
•
Flathead Screws (5): Used to attach the ZT 5524 to the standoffs (and thereby the ZT 4901).
•
Standoffs (5): Used to secure the boards together and maintain 0.8 in board spacing.
•
Ejector Ganging Pins (2): Used to tie together the operation of the boards' ejectors.
