Brake light switch or tail/brake light
Brake light signal is not received properly while the vehicle is
traveling (brake light circuit, or front or rear brake light switch
circuit).

Hydraulic unit assembly (abnormal ABS solenoid power sup-
ply)
Power is not supplied to the solenoid circuit in the hydraulic
unit assembly.
Check or maintenance job
• Between ABS ECU coupler and front brake light
switch coupler.
(green/yellow–green/yellow)
• Between ABS ECU coupler and rear brake light
switch coupler.
(green/yellow–green/yellow)
If the above items were performed and no malfunc-
tions were found, replace the hydraulic unit assem-
bly.
Refer to "ABS (ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM) (for
YP125RA)" on page 4-62.
Check or maintenance job
Check the ABS solenoid fuse. If the ABS solenoid
fuse is blown, replace the fuse and check the wire
harness.
Refer to "CHECKING THE FUSES" on page 8-135.
• Check the locking condition of the coupler.
• If there is a malfunction, repair it and connect the
coupler securely.
TIP
Turn the main switch to "OFF" before disconnecting
or connecting a coupler.
• Replace if there is an open or short circuit.
• Between ABS ECU coupler and ABS solenoid
fuse.
(red–red)
If the above items were performed and no malfunc-
tions were found, replace the hydraulic unit assem-
bly.
