To restore an array to its original controller, make sure the conditions for
moving drives are met. Then:
IMPORTANT: These steps must be followed AS DESCRIBED. Any deviation
or mistake could result in the loss of all data across all moved arrays.
1.
Power-down the system.
2.
Move the array back to its original controller but retain its drive position
from the consolidated configuration.
3.
Power-up the system.
4.
Each controller will indicate a 1789 POST message, "Drives are
Missing." Press F2 to fail the missing drives.
5.
Run the Array Configuration Utility and remove the appropriate failed
arrays.
6.
Reboot the system.
