5. Sit astride the seat.
It is possible to swim toward side,
use passenger handhold and/or
seat strap to lift yourself aboard.
N N O O T T E E : :
The side boarding method is not rec-
ommended as a first try boarding
method. It must only be used in last
resort as it is not the easiest method
to board a watercraft.

1. Swim to the rear of the watercraft.
2. Using one hand, lower the board-
ing ladder.

3. Using the other hand, take hold of
the edge of the boarding platform,
then pull yourself up so that you
can knee onto the boarding ladder.

4. Reach forward with one hand and
take hold of the molded handles
on the sides of the back seat or the
rear handle, then stand on the
boarding ladder.
