In order to meet warranty conditions,
ensure all appropriate maintenance
activities are performed.
Burner gaskets must not be reused.
Gasket is designed for one-time use
only.
Using nuts and washers not provided
by Fulton can lead to flue gas leakage
and cause damage to the studs.
Follow proper safety precautions when
using a ladder.

Verification of Ignition Electrode Gap
Replacement of the ignition electrode assembly is part of annual maintenance.
Part Number: 2-20-420001. Refer to Figure 25 and adhere to the following:

1. Remove ignition electrode assembly (ignitor). Visually check that the
insulators are clean.
2. For re-installation or installation of a new ignitor, verify with calibrated
calipers that there is a gap between electrodes greater than 0.100" (2.543
mm) and less than 0.125" (3.178 mm).
3. Do not re-use the o-ring. Replace with new and apply o-ring lube. Part
Number 2-12-000721.
4. Ensure electrical connections are clean and apply dielectric grease.
5. Install the ignitor. Apply C5-A copper anti-seize compound to both
ignitor screws and tighten in place using a torque screwdriver to 12 in-lbs
(1.36 N-m). Use caution when installing screws, cross threading or over
tightening can result in stripping screws, snapping screw heads and
damaging pre-tapped threading. Never use power tools to install igniter
screws.
