Voice Services cards
Introduction
A fully equipped Voice Services card requires one Type II PCMCIA card,
installed in slot A: or slot B:. A 48 Mbyte PCMCIA card can store up to 5 hours
of recorded prompts.
Capacity can be expanded by the following additions:
• 2 DSP cards
• a second Type II PCMCIA card
The internal slot B: is a more secure location for the PCMCIA card since it
cannot be easily removed. Slot A: is more convenient in case the PCMCIA card
needs to be changed. It also makes it easier to back up the drive.

• Accidental removal of the card will cause Voice Services to fail to play
announcements.
• Installation of DSP cards or standard PCMCIA cards in the incorrect slots
will not damage the installed cards.
The DSP and PCMCIA cards can be installed as indicated in the following table
