If you are assigning the IP address, Subnet mask, and default gateway for
the first time, initiate a HyperTerminal session with the Voice Services card,
using the following settings:
Bits per second: 9600
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
Flow control: None
The Login: prompt appears.
Log on as user vpsdseuser with the appropriate password.
Whenever you enter a successful command, you get a response of
value = 0 = 0 x 0.
At the command prompt, type maintModeOn, and then press Enter.
The Voice Services card is in maintenance mode.
Assign a static IP address by doing the following:
The first letter of the command is l (as in lima) and the third letter is I
(as in Indigo).
b. Type lnIsa_writeIP "aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd ", and then press Enter.
aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd is the IP address of the Voice Services card. The
double quotes are mandatory.
To specify a subnet mask, at the command prompt, type
lnIsa_writeSubnetMask "aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd ", and then press Enter.
To specify a default gateway (optional), at the > prompt, type
lnIsa_writeGW "aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd ", and then press Enter.
To turn off maintenance mode, at the command prompt, type
maintModeOff.
To make the changes take effect, at the command prompt, type
sysReboot.
You know that the card has completed rebooting when you receive the
message, Waiting for DSPM to initialize.
Press Enter to get the logon prompt.
